When your mind has an appropriate way to see self, you will experience a lot better results from your training. Let me tell you something that happened to me. A while back I would set about training in the gym and my partner would sneak on extra weights onto the barbell without telling me. I’d be expecting to do two hundred pounds and I’d be doing more than that and not even know it. Your mind is an important asset when it comes time to lose 20 pounds.
This is probably true for most people: you can do much more than you believe that you are capable of. That is what needs to change. Let me tell you how you can change your ways so that you get over plateaus in training. You don’t have to stick around wasting your workout time without any results.

You’re not going to get very far using cardiovascular routines to try to lose fat in the important places. The tradtitional thought is to do crunching moves to improve your stomach and then get on the thigh machine to get the fat off your things. This is not the best approach. Cardio will make it hard to lose 20 pounds.
What you really need to do is intervals on a regular basis to get that flab burned off and to get your muscles toned. I’ve been getting my clients on interval plans for more than ten years, way before this style of training became popular.
