You should never eat to the point where you feel sick, just satisfied. Eat slower and spread your meals out and you will lose weight quickly. </p>

<p>2. The Escalator Lifestyle &#8211; You can microwave your meal in 5 minutes, you can load a dishwasher in 2 minutes, and you can pay a dog walker in 1 minute. We have become a nation of lazy people. Even simple tasks that could be done in minutes are farmed out. Lack of activity has decreased our metabolic rates. It is said that the average human should be taking about 10,000 steps per day, yet we only take 1,500. Add some movement to your lifestyle, and I don&#8217;t mean that you have to exercise 2 hours a day. From now on, take the stairs, park a little farther, and walk your own dog. Try adding a pedometer to make sure that you are getting your 10,000 steps and watch the pounds melt away. </p>
<p>3. The Crash Diet Revolution &#8211; Every day we are on a new diet. The soup diet, the cabbage diet, and so on and so on. There is no such thing as a healthy diet. We are artificially losing weight, instead of living a healthy lifestyle. Instead of finding the hot new thing, make the choice to live healthy by eating fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean protein. Make a commitment to educate yourself as to what a healthy lifestyle consists of, and live it. </p>
<p>Don&#8217;t jump from diet to diet. Make the choice to follow a healthy way of life. Eat healthy foods, follow an active lifestyle, and don&#8217;t follow the bandwagon. Live by these guidelines and you will lose weight quickly.</p>
