Are you looking to find the best exercise to lose belly fat? Well, count yourself lucky because I will give a complete breakdown on what you are looking for. Straight off the bat I want to tell you that there is no such thing as the perfect “best exercise to lose belly fat”, instead there can be a combination but it all depends on what your goals are.
The best exercise to lose belly fat in my professional opinion comes in a combination of 3 variations.
• Full body workouts
• High Intensity Interval Training
• Turbulence training.
It is a fact that not all cardio is effective and efficient enough to burn fat. I can understand how cardio has been for many years the best routine to lose weight however latest findings show that you losing belly fat produces results faster if you engage your whole body.
On the other hand a full body workout is a much better option when it comes to fat loss. The reason for this is that more energy and fat is been burnt because the body is forced to work all the muscles together. Full body exercises are also more dynamic and engaging in nature more then most other fat loss gym exercises out there.
The next best exercise to lose belly fat is high intensity interval training. This type of training though exhausting is very rewarding. The main benefit of this exercise is to really get your heart going. It’s called high intensity because you are always training or working out within your optimal zone.
If you are looking to incorporate interval training then here is a way you could do so. Sprint for 30 seconds and recover for 15. This is known as the 2:1 ratio. If you are a beginner I would advice that you use a 1:2 ratio, running for 15 seconds and resting for 30. Repeat process for about 20 minutes. This same concept can be applied to weight training in the gym.
The final option for your work out programs is that of circuits. Similar to the method of interval training, circuit training is about completing a set of machines within a given time. The way is which you could do this is through supersets. Supersets is basically choosing 6 different machines and working through them in groups with as little recovery time as possible. Personally I like to group them into sets of 2 moving back and forth simultaneously working through sets and reps. My normal routine per set of exercise before changing to the next set of two is 12 X 2.
My advice for the best exercise to lose belly fat would be to conduct these exercises separately 3 days a week. These could be Monday, Wednesday and Friday leaving the alternative days to relax and recover. Remember not to over work yourself and always be consistent with your efforts.
